Navigating the climate is challenging in 2017. Among the discourse on climate change at the macro-level, farmers are getting a micro-view. Planting dates are changing, and germination of native species is happening earlier. This provides an opportunity to get an earlier start to the growing season, unless we get a frost.
In the tunnel currently are lettuce, radishes, turnips, chard, mustards, mint and oregano. The tunnel also serves as a greenhouse for transplants.
